NEWS: DJ Irie (@DjIrie) Representing New Era As A Brand “Flagbearer”

New Era recently announced its new collection of “Flagbearers,” a part of the its Fly Your Own Flag campaign!

Four individuals were selected as Flagbearers for 2012, among them world-renowned DJ – and the official DJ for the Miami heat – DJ Irie! In addition to his duties for the Heat, Irie spins for the most listened to mix-show on Miami’s WEDR 99Jamz on “The Drive at 5” three days a week. Born in St. Croix, Irie was raised in Miami. He began DJing as a child, using a homemade beat machine, some speakers and a keyboard.

As one of New Era’s Flagbearers, Irie will be highlighted in the brand’s national advertising campaign, which includes print, digital, outdoor ads, TV and non-traditional media.
