Maybach Music Group head honcho Rick Ross finds himself sitting atop the Billboard charts with the number one album in the country.
Rozay made quite a bit noise these past few weeks leading up to his highly anticipated, oft delayed “God Forgives, I Don’t” album. The fifth solo album from Ross, this project had so much buzz, that it’s really no surprise that it earned Ross the top album sales slot on the weekly charts.
So how did Rick Ross do in his first week when it comes to album sales? The official numbers show that Rozay sold an impressive 215,015 copies of his “God Forgives, I Don’t” album in the first week. Not a bad opening first week considering the current state of album sales, and Ross sold well over his ‘Teflon Don’ album, which opened up to 176,300 copies sold in the first week.
Next up on the Maybach Music Group roster is Meek Mill with his studio debut album ‘Dreams & Nightmares,’ set to release later this year.
